I.Introduction
The QuEChERS (Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, and Safe) method was first introduced by USFDA and scientists in 2003 and it becomes increasingly popular in the area of multi-residue pesticide analysis, drug or antibiotic residue analysis in vegetable, fruit, grain, and animal tissue.
II. Kits Contents
Universal Clean-up kits are optimized for different application requirement:
- GCB removes the pigments, including chlorophyll and
- PSA removes organic
- C18 removes non-polar interferences, such as
- Anhydrous MgSO4 removes the excess
The clean up kits are available in 2 mL, 15 mL for different sample volume requirement, and extraction kits are packed in anhydrous sealed packets. Meizheng slim package avoid spilling out during transfer the salt into the tube, make the process easier and more convenient. Superior centrifuge tubes and glass homogeneous ball provide you a simple and convenient experience.

III. Procedure Overview
Step 1:
Mix sample with extracting solvent and then open the extraction bag, pour all the salts into the tube, shake the tube violently. Add 4 glass homogeneous balls into the tube for dispersal purpose, especially for samples rich in water.
Extraction solvent is added to the 50 mL extraction tubes prior to the addition of the extraction salts. This prevents undesirable caking of the anhydrous MgSO4 to the sample.
Step 2
Select a proper QuEChERS clean up tube, transfer the supernatant of step 1 into it, and shake the tube to help the sorbent adsorb interfering matrices and MgSO4 helps removing excess water. Take part of the supernatant after centrifuge for analysis.
Remarks: When the samples are mixed with anhydrous MgSO4, excessive heat may be generated. It is recommended to vent the tube after a few shakes to release any gas pressure.
IV. Shelf Life
The devices remain stable when stored in their original sealed packaging. Dispose of used devices safely in accordance with applicable government or local regulations
