It can also cause fever, weakness, mental depression, loss of appetite, symptoms such as decreased blood sugar and blood pressure. Countries such as the European Union have banned dexamethasone as a growth promoter for livestock and used it in animal husbandry.

【Use Principles】

Dexamethasone ELISA Test Kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunoassay. The dexamethasone antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the dexamethasone antibody (antibody solution) with dexamethasone in the sample, anti- dexamethasone antibody binds to the dexamethasone-HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipette the substrate solution into the wells to convert the color into a blue product.

The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the dexamethasone concentration of the samples is derived. The absorbance is inversely proportional to the dexamethasone concentration in the sample.
