Summary
Chloramphenicol (CAP) is a widely used antibiotic, but has serious side effects, which can cause aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis and other diseases.
The detection method is sensitive, fast, simple and specific, only need 45min for operating and a small amount of sampling.
Order NO.: ME01AER
LOD: 0.02 ppb
Samples: Meat, Seafood, Liver, Egg, Swine urine, Feeds
Use Principles
Chloramphenicol ELISA kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the antibody (antibody solution) with Chloramphenicol in the sample, anti-Chloramphenicol antibody binds to the HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipette the substrate solution to the wells to convert the color.
The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the Chloramphenicol concentration of the samples is derived.
Cross-reactivity
Chloramphenicol…………………………………………100%
Chloramphenicol Base…………………………………0.5%
Methyl Chloramphenicol………………………………<0.05%
Florfenicol……………………………………………………<0.01%
Florfenicolamide…………………………………………<0.1%
