【Summary】

Doxycycline (DOXY) is a high-efficiency broad-spectrum antibiotic with strong inhibitory effect on a variety of pathogenic bacteria, and is often used in the treatment of various infectious diseases in animals. However, its residues in animal meat, eggs and other foods are a serious threat to human health, and can cause diseases such as aplastic anemia and agranulocytosis. Low concentrations of drug residues can also induce drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria.

【Principles】

Doxycycline ELISA Test Kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The Doxycycline antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the Doxycycline antibody (antibody solution) with sulfonamides in the sample, anti-Doxycycline antibody binds to the Doxycycline-HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipet the substrate solutions to the wells to convert the color.

The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the Doxycycline concentration of the samples is derived.
