Overview
The AuroFlow™ AQ Ochratoxin A Strip Test is a quantitative, rapid lateral flow assay designed to detect Ochratoxin A residue. This kit utilizes an environmentally-friendly aqueous extraction method and is compatible with wheat, designed for rapid field or reference laboratory settings.

Ochratoxin is found in contaminated crops due to fungal infection by certain strains of Aspergillus ochraceus and Penicillium verrucosum. Health problems result from consumption of ochratoxincontaminated food or feed, including acute kidney toxicity, hepatotoxicity, and teratogenic effects. The kit’s detection range for Ochratoxin A is 2-100 ppb.
