【Summary】

Nitroimidazole antibacterial drugs are mainly used to treat and prevent infections caused by trichomoniasis, amoeba protozoa and anaerobic bacteria. However, due to the carcinogenic effects of these drugs, many countries prohibit their use in the breeding of livestock, poultry and aquatic products.

【Principles】

The Nitroimidazole ELISA Test kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the antibody (antibody solution) with Nitroimidazole in the sample, anti-Nitroimidazole antibody binds to the HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipette the substrate solution to the wells to convert the color.

The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the Nitroimidazole concentration of the samples is derived.
